Carlsberg Buys London Fields

Print
News: July 2017

Carlsberg UK has announced its acquisition of London Fields Brewery.

The brewery was founded in Hackney in 2011, but its beers are presently brewed elsewhere under contract. The business will now be run jointly by Carlsberg and Brooklyn Brewery.

The original London Fields site in railway arches is to be reopened and upgraded, and its beers will be sold as part of Carlsberg’s House of Beers portfolio. London Fields founder Julian De Vere Whiteway-Wilkinson will no longer be involved.
