Thornbridge Home-Brew Winner Announced

News: March 2013

A 4.3% best bitter by a Surrey brewer is the winner of this year's Great British Home Brew Challenge.

The competition, which is in its second year, is organized by Thornbridge Brewery and Nicholson’s Pubs. Entries were judged by writer Pete Brown, brewer Alex Barlow and last year's winner, Paul Carruthers, who decided Roc Fall, entered by Tom Wright of Woking, was the best.

Tom will now visited Thornbridge to brew a large-scale version of his beer that will go on sale in all 80 Nicholson’s pubs around the UK.
