To convert degrees Fahrenheit (ºF) to degrees Celsius/Centrigrade (ºC), use the following formula:

Fahrenheit number - 32
x 5
                  9


Example:68ºF - 32x 5 = 20ºC
      9


To convert degrees Celsius/Centrigrade (ºC) to degrees Fahrenheit (ºF), use the following formula:

Celsius/Centrigrade number x 9+32
5


Example:20ºC x 9+ 32 = 68ºF
     5
